As mentioned earlier, Case IDs are extremely important. Every warning has a Case ID
- a randomly generated string of 6 numbers. This allows you to delete, transfer, and edit warnings comprehensively. To delete a warning, use /warn delete [member] [caseid] [reason]
. If no reason is provided, the log will show “No Reason Provided.” The Case ID
is visible on every log connected to warnings.
You can modify warnings in two different ways:
Transfer Command: /warn transfer [member] [newmember] [caseid] [reason]
This command may seem complex but is actually straightforward! The first parameter is the member from whom you want to remove a warning. The newmember
parameter is the member who will receive the warning. Case ID
is the ID of the warning you want to transfer. The additional reason provides clarification for the action, such as “I misspelled the username and added the warning to the wrong person.” You can leave this field empty if desired.
Change Command: /warn change [member] [caseid] [newreason]
This is similar to transferring. Simply specify the member who has the warning, the warning ID, and the new reason for the warning.
/warn all
. This displays a sleek, rich embed showing every detail of your server’s warnings. To view user-specific warnings, use /warn list [member]
to see the exact warnings for the selected member.
If you want to export your entire server’s warnings, use /warn export
. To export warnings for a specific member, use the same /warn export [member]
command but specify the member in the [member]
option.
